Title: Sr. Network Engineer
Duration: 6 Months
Location: Onsite at Augusta Maine
Skills needed: Route Switch Engineer, CCNP Level, Strong Cisco Background, F5 or Checkpoint Firewall Experience.
- Bachelor of Science in the related field - Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering
- Expert understanding of Routing and Switching, design, configuration, and operations.
- Certifications such as CCNP or equivalent are a plus.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco network hardware including routers, switches, and security appliances
- Knowledge and experience with networking protocols and configurations including OSPF, BGP, HSRP, multicast, SIP, QoS, VLANs, and MPLS.
- Solid understanding of general Security fundamentals.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated technical success in a fast paced, results-oriented engineering environment.
- Ability to work independently
